Replied on November 24, 2019. Thats very strange I’ve never had a problem with the game, it might sound stupid but delete the saved internal files under the manage game section on xbox for Minecraft, hold the power button for 30 seconds, and try again. Let me know what happens please.

I have the same problem, I have a disk copy so it cannot be because you have the digital copy. This started happening to me yesterday and I have NEVER experienced any lag on Minecraft, on my XB1S since I bought it in June. But @skidluisrx has a fair point, if the world is large it may take a longer time to save so try to turn off autosave.
Minecraft is so laggy in pocket edition because your video settings are too high. This is fake, the far lands do not generate on bedrock edition. If a server has low ram, it might lag.
