Minecraft bedrock unable to update to 1.17. Hi, I have been playing Minecraft for awhile, and I noticed something on the Microsoft store for Minecraft, there is no update for 1.17, the first part of the caves and cliffs update that is. I’m also unable to find the update. Normally, Minecraft would update manually, or when you load up Minecraft.
There are other answers below:
Turn your server back on and head over to the Console output. You will see a version number read out right after the server starts, this will now say “Minecraft 1.17”. Your server has now been updated and you can play the Caves & Cliffs update to Minecraft! Note: New biomes will not be available in areas you have already explored.
Open up your Minecraft launcher; If you’re specifically playing on an older version of Minecraft, such as a modded one via Forge, your game will not automatically update.
I cannot update to Minecraft bedrock version 1.17.10 and I am stuck on version 1.17.2. I have tried everything, resetting Minecraft, reinstalling it but nothing happens I go to the Microsoft store and click on get updates but it just says that all my applications from the Microsoft store are at the latest version, I don’t know why this is happening …
If not, look for Minecraft and choose “Options.” Choose “Check for Updates.” After Minecraft 1.17 is launched for PlayStation, the update will show up automatically. Xbox Head to My Apps & Games. Look for Minecraft and choose “More Options.” After this, go to “Manage Game & Add-ons.” Choose “Updates” and update the game to 1.17. Comments comments
Hey, i’m trying to play minecraft with my friend but he’s on 1.17.20 and i’m stuck on .10. I’ve literally tried every solution i could find – uninstalled minecraft twice, updated everything on the Microsoft store, restarted my pc.
1.17 is not the complete update, 1.18 is the final build of the features we have been told about. Since we will have candles, bundles, spyglass, goats, warden, new terrain generation and build height, the lot. I don’t know about Java edition, but currently bedrock edition has copper ingots as well as lightning rods.
Scroll down to Minecraft Select it Click Advanced options Click Reset Restart Check the Store for updates If that does not work… download the following utility and use it to remove Minecraft: extract it, launch it, scroll through the list, select Minecraft then click Remove.
Time and dedication: This is the main reason why. It would take months, if not years to update to 1.17. The sheer overhaul they’d have to do to everything would take forever. Some things will probably corrupt and break, other things might just not work.
Your installed apps will be in here. Under the Games tab in here, find Minecraft. There is a blue button in here that reads “Get Updates”. Click on it, and it will check if any of your apps here – including Minecraft – have updates. Minecraft will appear at the top of the list, and you will be given the option to press the “update” button.
