Why can’t i break blocks in minecraft multiplayer

1 Answer1. Show activity on this post. You have switched yourself into adventure mode rather than survival mode. Adventure mode is like survival mode, except that it does not allow breaking blocks without the specific tools, thus, for example, preventing the player from digging around puzzle areas in custom maps.

Log in to your Multicraft here and stop your server. Click on Files and then click on Config Files. Click on Server Settings. Find Spawn Protection Size, change the value to 0 (zero), and click on Save. NOTE: Yours is probably set to 16. If it’s not, no worries, just set it to 0 regardless of the existing value.

1st problem I ran into was when my friend couldn’t break blocks. A quick Google and op-ing him fixed it, but that’s really a temporary solution. 2nd problem was when another friend logged in and could break most blocks, but there were a couple that she couldn’t. Also, she couldn’t open doors.
