You cannot because console manufacturers (Sony and Microsoft) doesn’t let the game to connect to custom servers. BUT, you can connect to LAN servers. Therefore with a proxy software running in any PC in the LAN of your PS4 you can access remote servers. This is the proxy software: It is pretty easy to use too.

This comes after a year-long wait. The Featured Servers tab was added to the PS4 version of Minecraft back in 2019, and nothing was done with it. In the meantime, Bedrock players on Xbox and PC were able to play on several huge Minecraft servers with thousands of users. PlayStation players obviously felt a little left out.
