Racing with a wheel isn't always easier but so much more immersive. If you love driving then you'll love sim racing. Game was made with the controller in mind and all my club mates that have wheel only complain about any forza game they use with it and almost always go back to controller.

Wheels are great for sim racers. I know a lot of people use them for those Truck sim games. It's a good investment as long as you play those types of games. If you are reeeeaaally into racing games its absolutely worth it.

I'd say it's worth a try. I've raced with a controller (first on Forza then on Project Cars) for 2 years before buying a rig. The way I see it, sim racing is the most action packed genre in gaming because you have to be 100% focused for every corner of every lap if you truly want to get the best out of your race.
