I downloaded Java tonight and it will not run in 64 bit. It is the 32 bit version. I am trying to play a game (on Steam) and a mod I recently downloaded uses Java 64 bit only.
I use Java 7u3 64 bit. Also, I have to install 32 bit Java all the time because I use 32bit Firefox. There is apparently a 64 bit beta version or something, but I have yet to download it. 32 bit Java always gets installed by Firefox because it needs it to run plugins. So that could be happening to him as well.
