Depending on how you count, there appear to be between 150K and 600K lines of code. That seems much more realistic. For the record: Minecraft is very lag prone – sometimes painfully so. However, the number of lines of code is a very marginal factor in lag. Don’t get led into the idea that shorter code is faster.
